This is absolutely misleading. There is no ground to this at all.

Sorry, but this is a really, really, REALLY poorly researched article. I’m surprised Medium editors picked something like this to distribute to readers. I’m appalled, to be honest. This is detrimental to people’s health — and ignores some key aspects of the “healthy carbs” mentioned i.e,, the harm that gluten does to us, that sugar does to us.

The ketogenic diet can be extremely nutritious and wholesome, if you include superfoods like: mushrooms, cruciferous vegetables (kale, broccoli, cauliflower), healthy fats alike avocado and olive oil, lean meat, coconut oil, greek yoghurt, blueberries, strawberries and eggs.

And what are the people in those studies really eating?
